Hello Jenn. My answer: YES — I always have too many projects going on at once, and multiple interruptions. I am learning to narrow my focus. The tips you have provided are solid guideposts. Thank you

Your notebook idea is *chef's kiss* as it could keep lots of writers more organized even as their processes are messy. I can no longer juggle multiple projects as I did in my newsroom days, but it's delightful the way that one finished labor of love leads to another, and then another.

My project notebooks are like my Google calendar. I'm not sure I'd know what was going on without them.

Thank you Jen, I so often feel to are writing directly to me. I receive permission for my messiness, even a pay on the back for quitting some things and refocusing on others🙏🏼🙏🏼. You inspire me to keep going and that we each have our unique way of living creatively. The notebook discipline could change my life🙏🏼🙏🏼. Blessings to you.

Yes!!! I love this - we do have to own our own processes a little more. Doing what everyone else does (or tells us to do) is boring.

I’m currently working on a series of projects. On vacation, I completely sketched out my next book. I’ve yet to finish my first novel, so I am placing the new idea aside and will get to it when I get to it. Boundaries and patience are hardest. I have used notebook dedicated to projects before. We will keep doing that.

I love it when vacations or changes in scenery give us space to outline. To me, this is the part where I need the most consolidated time. Sounds like you're in the sweet spot of creativity!!
